How to make Matshita ABD-RE UJ-225S Region Free

In my Dell XPS M1530 laptop there is a:

MATSHIT ABD-RE UJ-225S Blu-Ray drive

Is there a way to make this drive region free, so that I can play DVDs from all regions?

My computer knowledge is limited, so I would be very happy for some step-by-step help!

Will it be possible in the future you think? When can I expect it will be possible if so?

Is there any other methode I can use to play any region DVD's on my laptop or is it completely impossible?

not an answer to this really, its just recently that DVDRW drives where possible to be made rpc1, so for a blu ray drive, who knows, i don't think you will find any alternative at the moment, i know anydvd within windows can bypass the region coding for pioneer,lg and other drives, i'm not sure it works with these matshita's

I would try with AnyDVD HD.

It doesn't work with anydvd hd 6.4.6.9 - what's the difference between rpc1 and rpc2 what causes the region coding error?

RPC2 is the normal factory default, with a region counter, once you hit your last change its locked to the region, RPC1 is region free, change whenever you like, these matshita unfortunately have a coding system that is difficult to get around

i have a matshita UJ230AS and i can't decrypt dvd of different regions
i only have 4 change of region, of which i already used 2
any news on the dezoning of this BD player?
