Hi
I am trying to fix my MacBook Pro DVD player as it has locked after 5 zone changes.
Drive details are HL-DT-ST GSA-S10N Operating system is Mac OS X Version 10.5.8
Details in system profiler are below:
HL-DT-ST DVDRW GSA-S10N: Firmware Revision: BP10 Interconnect: ATAPI Burn Support: Yes (Apple Shipping Drive) Cache: 2048 KB Reads DVD: Yes CD-Write: -R, -RW DVD-Write: -R, -R DL, -RW, +R, +R DL, +RW Write Strategies: CD-TAO, CD-SAO, CD-Raw, DVD-DAO Media: Type: CD-ROM Blank: No Erasable: No Overwritable: No Appendable: No
Wasn't sure how to get the output information as discinfo only seems to be for a Windows OS? Hope this information is enough. If anyone can help with the firmware I need it would be much appreciated
Cheers
Kat Wilkins

I guess that the GSA-S10N is the slot where you put your CD/DVD. I do have this slot, for sure, on the right hand side of my macbook.
What do I have to do next, please?
thanks in advance.
