The Firmware Page

I found a previous post with my same drive but no information wether the firmware was available or not.
A while ago I replaced my non-functional superdrive with a replacement from Mectech.
Using the system profiler:

Media: To show the available burn speeds, insert a disc and choose View > Refresh

Can the firmware of model UJ867 be used instead ?
