Hi,

I'm new to all this, but i've recently bought an external dvd drive which i want to be region free so that i can rip my collection of region one dvds.

Is there a way of changing the drive? I have a macbook.

Dvdinfo x: Gave this information.

VENDOR: PIONEER DVDRW DVR-K16
FIRMWARE: 1.15
RPC-2(REGION LOCKED)
STATE NOT SET
4 VENDOR RESETS LEFT
5 REGION CHANGES LEFT
NO REGION SET.

Any help would be appreciated:)
