Hey i have dhm-g48 and i am using winxp before i flashed my dvd-rom had problems with playing dvd's , cd's , and after i flashed the drive(the good thing is it read cd's and dvd's too but( it recognize all my cd's dvd's as an audio and when i am opening them they have 1 audio file in (track01.cda) also when i restart my pc and trying to open dvd for first time i can see the original files but when i am trying to run or copy any of them i cant and then they are replacing with the audio file.

This drive is not very well made :(

Not much else I can say. You've already done everything you can as far as firmware is concerned.

hey again i deleted secondary ide from system devices then install it again
seems it working ok reading cd/dvd's well but i am getting errors the dvd drive is working really slow.

ensure its running in DMA mode
