Hi to all,
some time ago my dvd-rom started to read slow the dvds... i think that that one was a bad dvd... but later all the cds and dvds didn't go... the lights turn on but it doesen't read anything... what should i do? Should i flash the firmware? It's an LG type...

please reply me :( :(

Make sure DMA mode is enabled.
Also try to clean the lens.

The DMA is in use... to clean the lents i sholud remove the dvd reader from the pc right? I did but no changes... :cry: :cry:

Firmware will not fix hardware problems, or system/driver issues.

So what sholud i do? change os? my friend had the same problem but with a cd-rom reader.... could be sort kind of virus? or it's only problem of the reader/bad drivers?
