Now I realy don't know that much.. so.. What is needed to upgrade my drive ? I have an w98 bootdisc. I have the patched 1.03 firmware.. The thing is, isen't there something about a jumper that needs to be set to make the drive permanently rpc-1 ? Need some help here as I don't wanna upgrade and then make the mistake not setting the jumper...

If you had to set a jumper for the 305S, I guess I would have heard about it for now... It's if you want to make some drives permanently RPC-2 (don't think it applies to 305S) that you have to mess up with jumpers. Otherwise, you should only touch the jumpers that set your SCSI ID/LUN if needed.
