Hello,

I tried to use google and found some basic user reviews about the Pioneer DVR-S18LBK. As the title says I need a new sata-burner. What would you recommend me?

I found users complaining from LG and Sony drives.
Also someone say that this pioneer is so loud that it can be compared to a taking off plane!

I need a reliable drive with a good burning quality that can be flashed to rpc1-0.

I remember pioneer had some good drives with the drv-215 and after this it looks like they've decided to shift them to a "make-in-china-products".

Any opinions and recommendations are welcome.
