I'm about to put a dvd burner in my notebook since the old one dont work anymore.I can spend near 100 euros and in this price i can find these 3 brands slimtype models.Sony,toshiba-samsung costs a lot more here in italy.So what do you think?I'm more like buying an lg....

IMHO You shouldn't buy LG, because:
As a burner it is quite suitable, as I know, but it will live not more than a month after the guarantee period is over.
And its reading capabilities (I don't know about LG DVD-RW drives, but about the DVD and CD drives) leave much to be desired. Maybe notebook variants are better.
