I have always been a Pioneer fan.

In my system, I have a Pioneer Reader (a 106 I think) and a 107 Writer.

The 107 is giving Power Calibration errors and I am now waiting for the NEC ND-4551 to replace it.

My 106 reader has been OK, but its ALWAYs had a problem reading 'some' disks and I am getting fed up.

If I were to buy a new reader too.. What is the current favourite? I want something which can be made region free, can read ANY disk and is fast and reliable.

I have already done a search about this, but can't find anything definative, so just wondered if someone could give me a recommendation.

Jon
