The Firmware Page

Hi,

I'm looking for someone who could adjust a firmware for Panasonic camera's.
Specially the LUMIX DMC-ZX1.

I bought some replacements accu's and Panasonic delivered this camera with firmware which cannot function with replacement accu's.

I've read some wires about the TZ6 and TZ7 camera's where is also an special firmware update from 1.1 to 1.2 to block other brand than Panansonic accu's.

Is there a way to adjust the firmware so it can work properly with the other brand accu's?
I'm not into the firmware (other than flashing) and do not know if its possible to read the existing firmware (and adjust).
If it is possible, is there some software which i could use?
