Help!
I made the mistake of buying a DVD at a car boot which has [*Profanity*] up my DVD player. Turns out that the disk is counterfeit and Trading Standards are after him...which I guess is good news..
Bad news is, my DVD player will no longer play legitimate DVDs properly...no audio, and the pictures consists of various shades of blue!!
Anyone know how to fix it. Is there anything I can download onto a blank DVD and then load into the machine to restore the original programming data..

Thanks for the advice.
I doubt it is a coincidence as the machine is practically new, barely used and was working fine until this fake DVD was put in it..The disc wasn't a copy of the title stated on the case when I started viewing it - God knows what is actually on that disc. Someone suggested trying it on my PC but I'm not risking that one.
I'm going to give Daewoo a call/email just to see if anything can be sent to me to fix it, before I chuck it in the skip.
