Does anyone think we'll ever get a new firmware for this burner? I have a major supply of Memorex DL media and burning at 2.4 is irritating, usually LG's can burn them at 4x but not this drive.

Any DL media other than Verbatim is cheap and nasty!

Ask LG, the manufacturer, if you want a new firmware.

The subject says it all. Firmware for the LG H62N DVD Burner. Preferably region free or a region resetter.

Please don't post replies saying to try the LG website, because as yet there is no firmware on their website either.
