hi sorry if i post this in wrong section. im new to this and in abit of an emergency. and got myself in abit of a twist. first of all i think you should know the following this is a screen shot of dvd genie an disc info as this will probably help ad dvd drive etc.

i am trying to acheve to return my DVD player to region 2. after accidently changing it. although appently it is now back on region 2 im having problems softwere wise i think. ive read some of the stuff and serched but im abit rubbish. powerDVD starts liek tis going to play then just says stop in the top right corner. nothing about region problems.

any help would be great. thanks so much in advance once again sorry about newbie post and location?

Your drive is in region 2 and the problem seems to be your drive or media.

Clean them both.

And next time pleas epost in the right section, because this is no DVD-ROM drive.

sorry for posting in wrong section i relise now i didnt look though them properly. thanks for reply. shall i jsut wipe all my media programs and re install them wil this work? as it is region 2 im tryign to get it back to?

so any ideas why its not workin if its already back on region 2?

would suggest firstly unistall and reinstall powerdvd, are you using and region program like anydvd, etc?

im using DVD genie think i showed this in the screeny at the top. i carnt re install power dvd till the weekend left the CD at home :( any other ideas

Do a google search for LtnRPC and download that.

You can change the region setting of your Sony drive with that.
