hi..
i bougth my BenQ DW800A for a year ago..then i got it to burn Dual Layer dvd's but no it wil not burn them anymore. according to the firmwarecheck my frimware is B5N7. I cant find anything on benq's site.. please help..need to burn a DL DVD.

my problem are that i cant burn dual layer.
post the media??
i am trying to burn my xbox360 backup, and it need to be burned on a Dual layer disc, but suddenly my burner don't support DL discs.
Yes, i have burned DL discs before
i am trying to uppgrade the firmware but i get the error: This firmware verison cant be upgraded.

it cannot suddenly not support DL, describe what happens when you insert a disc, any messages? can you access the media id via dvdinfo

I bet its because of the media.
Try different brands....

it cant recognize the media.. it says: please insert media to E:
in dvdinfo i get: No Media is Present

The only firmware is from the links below, but alot of them are dead, the only other is an RPC1 of what you have now, firmware cannot fix problemd with hardware or software issues

Found this on a different website
