...I found that quite interesting, when the flasher detected a 110D and a 110 Multi writer on the same bus, it dumped out that error-diag. I had previously not seen this, pre 110.

The 8.22 version available can be used to crossflash the Pioneer DVR-110D? How could I do it?

This version has Bitsetting for SL media?

he states CD write speed is 52x which is balogna.

In the bottom yes, but in the box labeled description, written in bold, black letters it says write speed : 52X.

oh yes just seen it, hmm, item is shipped from Taiwan, all these 110 models is so confusing, here in the uk we have all the 110D, and now the 110

well at least we all know better on what to watch for, but unfortunately not everyone is like that. I hope no one buys this drive and is dissapointed it is 12x slower on CD burns. No DVD burner burns up to 52x do they though? 48x is the highest yes?

correct 48x is the maximum, never seen one anywhere that does 52x

8.22 is Buffalo variant, just like the 109. Here his hopes that it contains bitsetting for SL +R media like the Buffalo 109.

1.22 still doesnt fix my issue where i cant read burned DVD movies.

still no word on a modded DVR flash?

I had the same probs as you m8 if you remember.. i decided to do a clean install of windows and all the disks that wouldn't read suddenly did, till i put the last version of nero 6 on, then it started playing up. So i restored system to before Nero install and it is fine again???!!

its a nero bug?? thats weird. ok i'll update nero and see what happens.

FYI: i havent changed nero in a long time. it is more than possible however that older nero versions are not compatible with the new rom in some way. i'll see what i can find.

edit: i was on 6.6.0.15 latest is 0.16
