Heh, UPGR110D.exe from firmware v1.03 still works fine (v2.26A) for firmware v1.17.
UPGR110D.exe from firmware v1.17 is v2.29C.

Have the dangerous brothers tried it on a 110?
Also if the requirement to go back to official firmware is needed is there any apps to do this.
I'm not sure if dvrupdate will work with the 110.

oh wow! A dangerous brothers Pioneer firmware mod. I thought you guys were strcitly NEC?
Very much appreciated however. Unfortunatley I don't have a 110 just yet or I would be a guinea pig for sure. Hopefully someone else will jump in.
I take it rip lock removed isn't need on this drive as I heard it is by default unlimited rip speed?
Hey Dangerous Brothers, care to take a stab at bitsetting for +R media?

Hi PeterPan4711,
the Pioneer naming schemes confusing us all more and more... But it's true, I was talking about the 110, not the 110D (which is available for a while now).
For a reasonable info/shop with good reputations, have a look here.

Just need to fix some checksums (I hope only that) before to release it.

There are now several versions of the 110D 1.17 firmware to be found on the different Pioneer websites
Here are 3 I have found
R110D_FW117EU.EXE 276825176DVR110_FW117.exe DVR110D_FW117EUJ.EXE
I have checked the firmware within these installation files, and can confirm that they are identical
Here are the official changelogs for the 1.11 & 1.17 firmwares as found on [url=http://wwwbsc.pioneer.co.jp/product-e/ibs/selectpage.html][color=blue]Pioneer

Thanks a bunch gradius, this is much appreciated. I guess the decryption of the firmware went easier/faster than expected. I hope for mods on future firmware releases.
