I've been sifting through the WWW and this forum for a straight answer, but I seem to come up with either firmware-versions that do not work or references to the now-defunct herrie.rpc1.org.

Can anyone give me a suggestion for a working firmware? I'm hoping to get my Prodisc.R03s burning at 4x. I have tried the ND-1300 and the HP modification with firmware updates, none of which worked (ie. no Prodisc.R03 at 4x). If someone can't help me out, I'll probably be flashing different firmware-versions to well into next year before eventually giving up and selling my body down at the docks to save up enough dough to buy a new burner. :)

Ah, ok. I'm not sure if I tested 1.A3. Thanks, I'll have a go at it later.

Seems to be working perfectly! Thank you so much for that tip, I've been going crazy figuring out which firmware would fix my problem, it never occured to me to check an official firmware update. :)
