i have a problem with burnin cd's cuz it can not recognize blank cd's and that trouble just happened suddenly. I dont know why but i have searched forums for solutions but did not work for me. I think i have to update its firmware but couldnt find it anyone help me please.

Updating firmware can "heal" nothing in this case.
Try to boot from a CD...
