I'm trying to install a TSL-462C in a Samsung R50 laptop and am getting a "cannot find an operating system" error message on boot. The laptop works fine when I take out the drive so after checking around, it appears I may need to switch the master and slave settings (to what I don't know yet!) on the drive. For past few hours I've been downloading firmwares for the 462C and trying to flash but nothing seems to be happening. Can someone help me out here and let me know what I should doing?

Your only chance is to ask Samsung to send you the appropriate firmware.
