Anybody know if any of the current released firmware is compatible with firmware 1A08? Or do I have to wait for someone to crack that one? This drive with 1A08 came with my compaq :(

I'd imagine any of the firmware on the main site will work seeing as its non-cracked original Toshiba firmware. But then its not RPC-1, the only reason you'd want to use it is for just having newer firmware.

Which usually fixes any minor/major drive problems in its hardware.
