I know this drive has a firmware update of EH25,mine is EH23. I've read about as mcu as I could find about it and crossflashing. Even tried it but I'm not sure I did it right. Last time I did one it made my Phillips DVD into a BENQ writer. ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!

well I did it but now when I try to lightscribe any dvd is is just a bunch of linds and smudes? any idea why?

What has this in common with "crossflashing"?

Anyway, first step is to update the lightscribe host software.
