I down-loaded the firmware patch for my LG GSA-4163B drive and successfully flashed the drive to A106.
But when the system rebooted, a information box popped up informing me that I had to re activate Windows as there had been a significant change in the hardware on the system.
I managed to do this but with difficulty.
Has anybody else had this problem?
its not to do with the firmware, its windows operating system, it allows so many changes to your system, i.e new DVD drive, Graphics card, etc etc, once you get to certain changes, it forces re-activation of your OS. Its alot easier now with the automated process.
