I have a Samsung SH-S202 Rev.G DVD burner. It has SB00 on it from the factory. Can this drive be upgraded to SB01, SB02, OR SB03? Would that also change the rev. or is there a Hardware difference between rev. j, h, n, etc.

Who told you about a "revision" of these drives?
They come with different name "extensions", that only refers to the build, eg. OEM, or retail.

I was referring to the label on the drive that says "rev. G", I only assumed that meant it was SH-S202G
At any rate, do you know if I can flash this drive with a newer rev. as indicated?

Thanks for trying to help.  I don't currently use that drive and since I have 2 of them, I may try it with SB01 to see if it works. Unless someone else knows.
