The curly braces are too much. Just try the following command: /Users/LJLT/Desktop/necflash -dump OldFirmware.bin A:
Curly braces usually show mandatory parameters, while [] means optional parameters

Are you using the latest Binflash version 1.62? In previous versions, you got the same error message, if the file could not be opened. Are you sure that file 3ahf_rpc1.bin is in the directory where you are when calling necflash? Or do you need to provide the full path to the firmware instead?

First of all, it always helps posting the complete command you typed, not only the output generated by that command... That error message suggests that the firmware file you attempted to flash is invalid. Did you unzip the firmware file(s) from the 7zip archive file you downloaded from Liggy's website?

I think in one of the previous posts, he mentioned that he was using 3ahf_rpc1.bin However it could still be that the the necflash call is wrong in some case. So a complete command (plus maybe an ls -l on the directory with the Bin file) should he helpful for troubleshooting.

/Users/LJLT/Desktop/flash/necflash -flash 3ahf_rpc1.bin A: What's the output if you enter ls -l then. Does it list a file named 3ahf_rpc1.bin and if yes, what is the size of that file?
