Hi,
I have an external CD/DVDrom (LG GSA-H58N) connected to PC by USB2 port. Installed plug and play like DVD-RAM unit, when I put into a blank dvd the unit change from DVD-RAM unit to CD unit. Why it happens? Does exist a new firmware for LG GSA-H58N able to solve the problem?

thanks

This is NO DVD-ROM, but a DVD writer. "DVD-RAM" indicates that.

Because that is a firmware request, it belongs into the REQUEST section.
