There are no firmware releases available for this drive, but it should be possible now to create a raw firmware dump using DevilsClaw's Renesas Flasher ( viewtopic.php?f=2&t=46137) by running it with this special command line: flasher -d <drive id> -l firmware.bin 1 80000000 00200000 where <drive id> should be replaced by your actual Drive ID number. Once a firmware dump is available, that would open the door for a RPC patch.

With a bit of DevilsClaw magic we should have a flashable firmware for this drive.

Strange ... no problems here as a free unregistered user (UK) and it didn't ask for anything other than a standard capcha code in order to download... I've uploaded a copy to mediafire anyway: http://www.mediafire.com/?df8zz48s15blnvl

I went to the site clicked the download entered there code and no download started and a free trial popped up. I tried it a few times. I am using Firefox with out any plugins right now so there should be nothing preventing the site from working properly.

Not sure what the next steps. Thanks, -kap
