LG WH10LS30 issue

I have bought this drive year ago and today decided to connect to pc to start work.
Windows 7 can see this drive, but drive do not see inserted media! :cry:

How to recognize problem's source?

(drive manufactured at August 2010).

Which media have you tried to read??

And how is the sata controller set up (IDE/AHCI/RAID) ??

I can't boot from it.
all media types.
I don't know exactly - in drive info set IDE\CdRomHL-DT-ST-BD-RE__WH10LS30__________1.00

Check the sata controller setting in the BIOS!

it was AHCI, but what I change to IDE, I got same result (no accept media)

Try to boot from a bootable CD and a DVD.
Maybe just one lens/part is defective, but it seems to be a serious problem with this drive.
Other possibility is a clash with the sata controller. Which one is it and which motherboard do you have?
