For any of you that (like me) use Kaspersky Anti-Virus software, they have just gone to version 8 which are now naming as 'Anti-Virus 2009'.

The current release (as of this writing) is 8.0.0.0.357 (a,b).

It installed flawlessly over my previous v7 but required some updates (already!!).

The reason I use KAV is that, if needs be, they update the detection files EVERY HOUR!

Hi Puma,

I'd highly recommend it :)

One of the PC Mags ran some tests back in 2004, and then, KAV was the only one that passed them all!
