If so, you should know that massive updates this week (circa 8th April 2008) have been released from M$!!

As PumamUK says, (and I hate to admit to this), Vista IS stable, BUT, I still have issues with its compatabitly :(

Anyway, make sure you visit Windows Update!!!

yep few updates this month, its also worth installing SP1, which makes vista better, the transfer of files is much faster, on Vista, i think its pretty much stable, since i installed mine, not one crash, or BSOD, etc, couple of issues with software compatability, but no difference in what XP went through

Yes indeed...

You might also want to try this Freeware Anti Virus solution:

Aaagh - no - that's not right - that's the address of a different site.....

It's:

http://www.grisoft.com/

They make it quite difficult to find the free version - hint: use the 'site map' at the bottom of the home page.

There's a big problem with 'lookalike' sites which don't QUITE take you where you should be going. Spybot has the biggest problem, I've found. Before you ask, thats:

http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html

You are of course quite correct with your link and not mine :(

Thanks for the correction.
