Further to my remarks in an earlier post, Virtual PC 2007 - VPC - (which will be M$ FREEWARE!!!) is now available as a Beta download.

You need to register your interest with M$ and the download is circa 26MB.

It's here:

https://connect.microsoft.com/site/site ... SiteID=288

I let it over-write my registered copy of VPC 2004.

Apparently, it's scheduled for release in early 2007 (again, as Freeware), and you can also register with M$ to download Release Candidate 1 (RC1) of the forthcoming Windows Vista (32 & 64 Bit versions now available)...be warned, this a HUGE download 2.5GB+ ISO file that you burn to a DVD but you can (at a cost), request a DVD to be mailed to you.

For my part, I've joined these Microsoft programs, but have absolutely no intention of adopting Vista until at least SP1 :)

Just want to see if my stuff runs on (32 Bit) Vista :)

Take care.

tjs.

My apologies All...it could be that I had already 'registered' for the download when I snapped that URL... which probably won't work for you :(

Not entirely satisfactory, but this could be your kick-off point (and I think it was mine)

Like I said, you do have to go through a registration process before you get to the download
