n225 is not compatible with UN08 firmware.
Laptop drives follow other rules, they have OEM specific firmwares to work correctly.
I'm not so sure that the problems are firmware related but w7 related. |

That is what you think...
Try to boot from a bootable DVD. If it fails the dvd part is dead. |

I think there is no problem, but you may think there is one because of the different recognition schemes from xp / vista.... |
