| Click on drive properties in device manager................ There you can see the correct brand and model number, connection setup, firmware revision, proper working/problematic state. Region status can be seen without extra software, just with any OS basic drive info.
What you mean is "features", not futures... |

That are RPC2 firmwares, IF they were rpc1 it would be mentioned there. |

Ah, too late. Just ordered 300 discs, will have that in mind next time.
Did you try Verbatim (15/30gb) media yet?
TF36 seems to be more common and more spread, but what date does it have? |

| How did you patch the current firmware? I tried to flash my GS21N SA18 with RPC1 firmware (http://files.rpc1.org/index.php?act=view&id=5681) but it is not flashing. I was able to rip to .hex file, but the flashing is not happening. Any help? Since when is that RPC1 firmware?? :o :?: :?: :?: |

Where did you buy the 912??? I bought a 902 yet and the german zoll made trouble, complaining about not refered info (type, price, country) BUT all that was clearly on the package leaf!!!
And does anyone know a good source for HD-DVD-R/W media?  |
